Heart disease is increasing rapidly among the youth, bad cholesterol is the biggest reason…know how?

Since Corona (Covid-19), the risk of heart diseases has increased rapidly in people of all ages. The complaint of bad cholesterol has increased rapidly especially among the youth. The most surprising thing is that cases of bad cholesterol are mostly seen in people above 20 years of age. Although earlier it was believed that all these diseases occur with increasing age. But nowadays it is catching people of any age.

Why are cholesterol cases increasing

Cholesterol is produced by the liver. Cholesterol is a hormone. Which plays an important role in the formation of bile salts necessary for vitamin D synthesis and digestion. Works as lipoprotein in blood. HDL is considered good cholesterol.

Bad cholesterol is increasing among youth due to this reason

There can be many reasons for bad cholesterol in youth. Most of all bad eating habits and lifestyle. Bad fat and processed food. Nowadays youth like to eat outside food a lot. In which the amount of sodium is very high. All these increase the level of bad cholesterol in the body. Apart from this, nowadays the intake of soft drinks, snacks and sugar has increased a lot among the people. Due to which the lipid balance gets disturbed. And due to this the risk of heart diseases increases.

If you want to stay safe from bad cholesterol, then it is very important for you to get a checkup done every month. Get your cholesterol level checked every three months. People above 20 years of age should get their cholesterol checked every 5 years. Also take special care of lifestyle and diet. Exercise for 30 minutes daily. And minimize the use of alcohol.
